The session highlighted Egypt’s growing role in vaccine and pharmaceutical localization through local manufacturing, regulatory excellence, technology transfer, and sustainable healthcare access. Strategic collaborations with Military Medical Services, Sinovac, Chumakov, and Ibn Sina further supported analytical testing, stability studies, clinical trial readiness, technology transfer, and vaccine manufacturing localization—strengthening the position of GENNVAX and GENNECS across Egypt and Africa.
Through biotechnology, local innovation, strategic partnerships, and sustainable vaccine manufacturing, they highlight how GENNVAX is helping build stronger regional capabilities, expand access to essential vaccines, and reduce dependence on imported solutions. Their message reflects a clear commitment to transforming collaboration and scientific innovation into greater health security, resilience, and self-sufficiency for Africa.

As part of its commitment to strengthening regulatory partnerships across Africa, Gennvax held a high-level meeting with the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ), represented by Dr. Zivanai Makoni, Head of the Evaluation and Registration Division.
Gennvax management and team held a high-level meeting with the Ministry of Health of Uganda, including Hon. Margaret Muhanga Mugisa, Minister of State for Primary Health Care, and Hon. Anifa Kawooya Bangirana, Minister of State for Health in charge of General Duties.
Gennvax is advancing its strategic partnership with Kenya’s Ministry of Health, with the completion of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) currently in process. This collaboration focuses on enhancing vaccine access, supporting national health priorities, and moving toward self-sufficiency in vaccine production.
Gennvax management held a high-level meeting with the Ministry of Science and Innovation of Uganda to discuss strategic collaboration in research and development.
Gennvax, Egypt’s pioneering vaccine manufacturing site, is dedicated to achieving self-sufficiency in core vaccines and contributing to Africa’s health security.
